Thanks for asking about the 'Farmer's Song'. Every time I hear that song it makes me want to DO SOMETHING but I never knew the story behind it. Hope she puts a Farm-Aid (sp?) link up on her website or Myspace page because she sure is one MOTIVATING singer.
I WISH you would have asked about the outcome of her singing to the 'Village Board' some time ago in Texas. (it's on youtube) Did they listen, did they listen? I've always wondered.
Everything about her is so amazing. She plays her own voice (and the mic!) with the same level of expertise that she plays her guitar (and other instruments!)
